Introducing the T7 100, a product designed to provide hosts with total peace of mind that their vehicle is safe and secure.
The T7 100 is a Thatcham-approved S7 telematics device provided by IMS (Insurance and Mobility Solutions). The device is professionally installed discreetly within your car and communicates directly with Turo's vehicle recovery specialists, W4G.
If a T7 100 alerts W4G to any suspicious activity they will investigate and notify Turo of the situation.
Additionally, if a host has any reason to suspect their vehicle is at risk, they can notify Turo customer support and W4G will be alerted. In such scenarios, minutes really do matter.
To respect the privacy of Turo guests, hosts will not have access to the telematics portal. Turo and W4G will access the data only if they are notified, alerted, or suspect a vehicle is at risk.

After your complimentary 12-month subscription is up, if you wish to continue hosting your vehicle on Turo, you are required to renew your subscription for a monthly fee of £5+VAT. IMS will reach out directly 14-days before the end of your 12 months subscription to set up your new subscription.
Alternatively, you can have it de-installed and your listing will be removed.

Telematics data will only be accessed by Turo and/or W4G in the event that Turo or W4G is notified or suspects that a vehicle is at risk. Once you have purchased your T7 100 Unit, Turo will pass on your order details, vehicle registration number, and vehicle model to IMS. IMS will reach out to book your installation. In the event that a host wishes to have the T7 100 Unit removed, they can book a deinstallation at a cost of £45 + VAT by emailing orders@trakglobal.co.
